golden memories.

              at Lys d'Or

    Welcome to
restaurant Lys d'Or

Restaurant Lys d'Or is chef Ignace Wattenberge's dream come true.

His passion for Belgian-French cuisine led him to work at leading Michelin-starred restaurants in Belgium and abroad.

When he won the prestigious title of “First Chef of Belgium” in 2017, his enthusiasm for running his own business was unstoppable.

And where better to serve an experiential cuisine than in a beautifully renovated mansion in the art district of Ghent?

We invite you to enjoy a delightful moment with a golden touch.

Lobster Menu

Dear guests,

This September, we would love to treat you to our lobster menu on Fridays and Saturdays.

What can you expect?

A beautiful European lobster, prepared in its entirety especially for you.
We use European lobsters weighing 800–900 g.
We are launching this 3-course lobster menu at €59 per person.

Getting here

We are easily accessible via the inner ring road, and parking is available along Charles de Kerchovelaan.
No space available? You can also park in the underground car park beneath Sint-Pietersplein. From there, walk via Kunstlaan to Charles de Kerchovelaan.
The walk takes approximately 5–10 minutes.

In the evening, you can also park beneath the provincial government building. Enter via Eekhout. Take the lift to street level, where you will see the provincial government building on your right. In front of the building, turn right to reach Charles de Kerchovelaan.
